These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CoderGautam LLC ("Company," "we," "us"), governing your use of WorldGuessr.com and our mobile apps (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Younger users may play as guests, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or school.
WorldGuessr is enjoyed by players of all ages, including children. The following are prohibited:
We may moderate, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion. Progress on banned accounts may be forfeited.
Without our prior written permission, you may not: embed or iframe the Service in another site or app; use the Service to generate ad revenue on a third-party platform; misrepresent the Service as your own product; or use the Service in a way that competes commercially with WorldGuessr.
You retain ownership of maps, reports, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and moderate it as part of operating the Service. You are responsible for the legality of what you submit and represent that you have the rights to submit it. We may remove or refuse User Content at our discretion.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes (a) identification of the work, (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material with a link, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and (f) your signature, to [email protected].
You may delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoderGautam LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your User Content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for at least 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

WorldGuessr is operated by CoderGautam LLC ("we," "us") in the United States. This Privacy Policy applies to worldguessr.com and our mobile apps (the "Service").
We intentionally collect very little. You can play as a guest with no account and no personal information.
If you sign in with Google, we store:
Our servers also log basic technical data (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, and we use Google Analytics for anonymous, aggregate usage stats.
To run the game (authenticate logins, save progress, show leaderboards), to keep the Service safe (moderation, abuse prevention), and to fix bugs. That's it.
WorldGuessr is family-friendly. The full game can be played as a guest, with no account and no personal information collected.
Account creation requires you to be at least 13 years old. Users under 13 should play as guests, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or school. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13 without verifiable parental or school-administrator consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
Parents, guardians, and school administrators can request deletion of a child's account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We comply with COPPA.
We use a limited set of providers, each only for their stated purpose:
About ads: we do not run our own behavioral tracking. However, NitroPay is an ad-mediation platform, and its third-party ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad measurement and interest-based advertising under their own privacy practices. We keep your account data while your account is active. If you have not signed in for 24 months, we may delete your account and associated game progress. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days. Moderation records may be retained longer to enforce these rules and prevent banned users from returning. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected] from your account email. We respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information under the CCPA or similar state laws.
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption and standard security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep collected data minimal so there is little to expose.
If we update this policy we will revise the "Last Updated" date above.
