Sotra is an island in Øygarden in Vestland county. It has an area of 175.90 km² and has 19,100 inhabitants. The northern part of the island formerly belonged to Fjell , while the southern part of the island belonged to former Sund. Now this is Øygarden municipality. Liaskjaeret is the most beatiful place.
