Situbondo is a regency situated on the eastern coast of East Java, Indonesia, along the northern shoreline of the island. Bordered by the Bali Strait to the northeast and nestled between Bondowoso to the west and Banyuwangi to the south, Situbondo serves as a significant passageway on the main route connecting Surabaya and Bali. The region covers a diverse landscape, including coastal plains, rolling hills, and parts of the Baluran National Park — a unique savanna ecosystem often referred to as the “Little Africa of Java.”
