these locations are rare coming from someone with like around 500 games on worldguessr. while they may not be rare in geoguessr, these are places i've only encountered once or twice or straight up never gotten before. they're not always the rarest, but they are odd locations that should take you a second to figure out. Other reasons that i put them in there are rare forms of coverage, such as trekker or snowmobile.
