The Plodopitomnik settlement is located in the southeastern part of Kazan, within the Privolzhsky District, near the large residential area of Gorki.
The northern border of Plodopitomnik runs along low-rise residential properties with addresses on Kaenly Street, which belong to the settlement (residential area) of Altan. The eastern border of Plodopitomnik initially follows properties with addresses on Gazovaya Street, also part of Altan, and then runs along the technical corridor of three main pipelines: the high-pressure gas pipeline Minnibaevo – Kazan, the ethane pipeline Minnibaevo – Kazan, and the ethylene pipeline Nizhnekamsk – Kazan. The southern and southwestern borders of Plodopitomnik run along the edge of a forest area informally known as the “Dubrava” forest park, while its western border runs along a forest belt that separates the settlement from the high-rise residential development with even-numbered addresses on Komissara Gabishava Stree
