Hahndorf is a small town in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, about 25 minutes from Adelaide city. It’s actually Australia's oldest surviving German settlement, founded in 1839 by German Lutheran immigrants. Because of that, it has a really strong German vibe — you'll find German bakeries, pubs, craft stores, and cute little streets lined with trees and historic stone buildings.
